Genie - Privacy Policy
Premium app
Genie is a premium app and requires paid credits to generate content. That is our business model. Your personal data is never collected or sold for commercial purposes. We respect your privacy and our app is fully GDPR compliant (European Privacy Law). Read more.
Content data
All the content you create is only saved locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party. Genie requires no sensitive Android system permissions to use.
The questions and content created can however be used by OpenAI to train and improve their AI models. We refer you to the privacy policy of OpenAI to read all the details: www.openai.com/privacy
Account and support
The Google account you select to login (e.g. yourname@gmail.com) is stored on our server for authentication. This way you can use your Genie credits on multiple devices and transfer your them to a new device when for instance you get a new phone. Secondly we use your account to provide user support and communicate with you if you have questions about the app or your privacy. When you choose to use Genie, you freely consent to this data processing (article 6 and 7 GDPR). If you no longer want to use Genie you can request that your Google account is deleted from our server. Use the 'Contact' page on this website or click the 'delete account' button inside the app.
Development
Genie uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics SDKs. These SDKs maybe process personal information like your device brand, model, system settings. We use this information to monitor performance, fix crashes and bugs and add new features to the app.
